Lone tree on Sauvie Island

Just a short drive from downtown Portland, Sauvie Island offers a respite from the city life. Parking is not free in most of the public areas but the fee is minimal. At the end of the island is a clothing optional area so beware of possible nudists enjoying the Columbia river beaches.
